The Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home has been offering dignified and caring services to families from Upton and surrounding
communities for over 100 years.
Kenneth M. Pedersen, Jr. is the sole proprietor of this family-owned and operated business. A 1977 graduate of the New
England Institute of Anatomy, Sanitary Science and Embalming (now New England Institute at Mount Ida College), Ken served his
apprenticeship with the Folsom Funeral Service of Roslindale, Dedham, and Westwood, and has been a licensed funeral director and
embalmer since 1978. He understands how important it is for families to have a chance to say their final good-byes to loved ones
and takes pride in providing the finest embalming and restoration services to make that last impression as comforting as possible.
Ken volunteered as a call firefighter with the Upton Fire Company for over 20 years and continues to serve as a special police
officer for the town. He is also the elected Upton representative on the School Committee for the Blackstone Valley Vocational
Regional School District and has been a volunteer coach for the Holliston High School hockey team for more than nine years.
Diana B. Pedersen works with her husband as the office manager for the funeral home. A 1973 graduate of Boston College, Diana
assists families with making funeral arrangements, prepares obituaries, and handles all the paperwork and bookkeeping associated
with the efficient operation of the business. She recognizes that families have many decisions to make and a wide array of options
to choose from when making funeral arrangements and takes care to ensure that grieving families understand all the choices
available to them.
Diana has served in numerous lay leadership roles at the United Parish of Upton and has been a member of the Upton Women's Club
since 1979. She is the recording secretary for the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District Committee and also works
part-time in the school's central office.
Ken and Diana are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, working together to provide personalized and caring service for
all religious affiliations. They can provide a variety of services, from direct cremations and immediate burials to customized
full service funerals, shipping arrangements, and fully-insured pre-arrangements.
