Richard A. McLaughlin

Richard A. McLaughlin, 65, of Upton and formerly of Natick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 with his wife by his side at Massachusetts General Hospital.  He is the beloved husband to Lisa M. (Johanson) McLaughlin.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Richard and Ellen (Herlihy) McLaughlin.  He was raised and educated in Natick.

Prior to retirement, Mr. McLaughlin owned and operated Heritage Siding & Window Co for many years.  He had a passion for restoring Victorian homes and was known for being extremely precise with his workmanship.

Richard loved riding his motorcycle, playing blues guitar, watching the New England Patriots, spending time by the ocean, especially in Wellfleet and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Migner and her husband Taylor, of Northbridge; Kevin McLaughlin and his fiancé Jenny, of Upton; Christina Bonadei and her husband T.J., of Upton; Julie McLaughlin of Framingham; Angela Andino and her husband Carlo of Upton; and Michael McLaughlin and his wife Tara, of Whitinsville.  Also, his sisters Nancy McLaughlin of Bedford and Patricia Martin of Milford as well as 10 young grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Richard is predeceased by his younger brother, Thomas McLaughlin of Maine.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Friday April 30, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, Inc. 45 Main St. Upton.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 1, in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 151 Mendon St. Upton.

Burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton will be held privately with his family.
