Welcome to the memorial page for

Henry T. Hebb

February 2, 1936 ~ December 15, 2017 (age 81) 81 Years Old
Henry T. Hebb, 81, of Upton, passed away peacefully at Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Northbridge on December 15, 2017. He was the husband of Judith M. (Temple) Hebb.

Mr. Hebb was born in Mayfield, KY, a son of the late Ralph W. and Mary Sue (Flood) Hebb. He lived in Upton since age 9, where he attended the former Upton Congregational Church and was a 1954 graduate of Grafton High School. A veteran of the Korean War, he served with the Army Signal Corps from 1954 to 1957.

Henry worked as a precision optical technician for several area companies before retiring from Optometrics in Waltham. He was a 50-year member of Montgomery Lodge of Masons in Milford and had served as an auxiliary police officer in Upton. An avid cribbage player, he enjoyed spending time at the Mendon Senior Center and visiting with family and friends. He was a self-taught machinist and woodworker who liked folk, Celtic, and bluegrass music.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he leaves one son, Andrew Hebb and his wife Donna of Harvard; a daughter, Rebecca Driver and her husband Steven of Upton; three grandchildren, Eponine King and her husband Jesse of New York, NY, Jason Driver of Millbury, and Mark Driver of Upton; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Fred "Mort" Hebb and Mary Goodrich.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Mendon or Upton senior centers.
