Joseph R. Palinkas

Joseph R. Palinkas, 47, of Hopkinton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Born in Framingham, he is the son of Barbara D. (Moore) Palinkas of Hopkinton and the late John Palinkas. He was educated in Hopkinton schools and was a 1988 graduate of Keefe Technical High School.

Joseph was a self-employed mason and tile installer.

Joe enjoyed all things outdoors including hiking and fishing with his son John. He loved going to see movies with his beloved daughter Leah.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons, Koady J. Palinkas of California and John H. Palinkas of Hopkinton; one daughter, Leah M. Palinkas of Hopkinton; one brother, John S. Palinkas and his wife, Shannon, of Upton; one sister, Elizabeth M. Thieme and her husband, Derek, of York, Maine and several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Mary Grenga of Hopkinton.

A private funeral service was held in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc., 45 Main St., Upton.
