Richard E. Aldrich

Richard E. Aldrich, 61, of Franklin and formerly of Milford, died Wednesday, October 4, 2011 at his home. A retired postal worker, he was the son of Sam and Ann Aldrich of Upton.

After many years of evening school, Mr. Aldrich graduated from the University of Phoenix in Framingham on Saturday. He had worked at the Framingham Post Office for many years, retiring two years ago, and more recently had been a substitute teacher in Milford Public Schools.

In addition to his parents, he leaves two sisters, Sharon Coburn and her husband Harry of Upton and Patty Bileau of Milford; a brother, Gary Keene of SC; a sister-in-law, Susan Lovejoy of Uxbridge; aunts and uncles, Fran and Fred Palmer of Uxbridge and Doris and Tom Ortla of Milford; and many cousins and beloved friends. He was also the brother of the late Ronald C. Aldrich.

Service Details

Memorial calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2011
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.

Following cremation, private burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton will be at the convenience of the family.
