Chad M. G. Digregorio

Chad M. G. DiGregorio, 26, of Upton, died tragically on July 18, 2012, while on an archaeological survey in Turkey. He was the son of Barbara J. (Gillis) and Arthur J. DiGregorio, Jr. of Upton.
Chad graduated from Nipmuc Regional High School in Upton in 2004 and Providence College in 2008. He was studying for his Ph.D. Aegean at Boston University. He was also a field archaeologist and was the editorial assistant of the Journal of Field Archaeology at Boston University.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister, Deanna M. DiGregorio of Upton; a brother, Christopher J. DiGregorio of Delmar, NY; his grandmothers, Marion DiGregorio and Elizabeth Marie Gillis, both of Somerville; his fiancé, Ilaria Patania; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
