Gail L. Manyak

UPTON- Gail L. (Shackleton) Manyak, 65, of Upton, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Frank Manyak.

Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Kenadek) Shackleton. She was raised in Upton and was a graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School.

Gail owned and operated Silver Fox Jewelry in Upton. She enjoyed traveling, camping, hiking, and all watersports.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, Christopher Ames of Upton and Tara Ames of California and two grandchildren, Camden Davidson and Charlotte Rosie Ames Shackleton.

Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 8, at 11:00 A.M. in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc., 45 Main St., Upton. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.

Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
