Gordon H. Randall, 100, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Milford Gardens.

Born in Natick, Massachusetts, on September 25, 1925, Gordon was the son of the late Lewis Randall and Bessie (Murphy) Schofield. He was raised and educated in Natick and was the youngest of his siblings.

Mr. Randall proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, attaining the rank of Seaman.

Prior to his retirement, Gordon worked for many years as a house painter. Earlier in his career, he was employed by Giovanni Hat Manufacturing, where he worked for 15 years.

Gordon was truly a jack of all trades. He could rebuild a vehicle engine, add a room onto a house, build furniture, and repurpose nearly anything. On one occasion, he even transformed a couch and chair into a chaise lounge. Known as the original do-it-yourselfer, Gordon took great pride in working with his hands. He enjoyed puttering in the garden on the family farm and was an avid reader, enjoying many genres, with westerns being his favorite. He loved a good game of pinochle or cribbage, spent time working crossword puzzles, and in later years became an enthusiastic puzzle maker. As a boy, Gordon spent several summers in Wyoming during his junior high years.

He is survived by his children, Virginia Arnold of Brooksville, FL; Lois Randall of Middleburg, FL; Norma Randall of Dowelltown, TN; and Gordon Randall II of Hudson, FL; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his sisters, Lois Stockman, Dorothy Chuimento, and Virginia Fairbanks; and his brothers, Norman Randall, who was killed in action while serving with the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II, and Richard Randall.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
