Ida Mae Higgins (Pluff) Iadarola

Ida M. (Pluff) Higgins Iadarola, 91, died Saturday evening, September 22, 2012 in the Health Center at the Willows of Worcester after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Frank J. Iadarola, who died in 2009, and Gilbert Higgins, who died in 1976.
Mrs. Iadarola was born in North Dana, MA, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Applegate) Pluff, and had lived in West Upton most of her life. She was a graduate of the former Upton High School and Ward Business School and had worked as an insurance underwriter at Allmerica, now part of the Hanover Insurance Group, in Worcester for many years.
She leaves one daughter, Kathryn "Kay" George and her husband James of Bolton; a granddaughter, Courtney Lawton and her husband Paul of Maynard; and four great-grandchildren.
Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home of Upton
on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, with Father Laurence Brault,
pastor of Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish, officiating.
Burial followed in the Pluff family lot in Maplewood Cemetery in West Upton.

At her request, private funeral services were held in theWilliams-Pedersen Funeral Home of Upton
on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, with Father Laurence Brault,
pastor of Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish, officiating.
