Janice R. LaPan

Janice R. LaPan, 85, of Milford, formerly of Bellingham and Upton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. LaPan, Sr., who passed away in 1991.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Janice was the daughter of the late Walter and Ruby (Medford) Olsen. She was raised and educated in New York.

Before her retirement, Janice worked as a certified nursing assistant, dedicating herself to the care and comfort of others.

She was a proud member of the Upton Bloomer Girls and loved traveling, especially to Las Vegas, Florida, and throughout the United States. Above all, Janice cherished the time spent with her friends and family.

She is survived by her two sons, Walter LaPan, Jr. and his wife Susan of Whitinsville, and Wayne LaPan of Attleboro; her beloved grandchildren, Rachel Kelly, Sarah LaPan, Matthew LaPan, and Emily LaPan; and her adored great-grandchildren, Ian Kelley, Emma Kelly, and Christian Kelly. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 28, at Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street, Upton.
