Judith C. Collopy

Judith C. Collopy, 70, of Clinton, formerly of Upton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester surrounded by family.

Born in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Ciavola) Favreau. She was educated in Clinton and was a 1966 graduate of Clinton High School.

Judy was employed in the housekeeping department at Milford Regional Medical Center prior to her retirement.  She was known as the “candy lady” as she always had a treat and a smile ready for her co-workers. Judy loved spending time with family and her cat, Bailey.

Judy is survived by her one son, Barry W. McCarthy and his wife, Christen, of Woonsocket, RI; one brother, Billy Favreau of Clinton, MA and three grandchildren; Taylor McCarthy, Colin McCarthy and Noah McCarthy.  She was the sister of the late Janet Regan. She also leaves behind several loving nieces.

At Judy’s request, there will be no calling hours. She wanted everyone to remember her full of life and laughter. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc., Upton.
