Judith A. (Haight) Latimore, 79, a lifelong Upton resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2018, in the Milford Regional Medical Center after a very brief illness. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Latimore, Sr. who passed away in 2012.
Born in Danbury, CT., she was the only child of the late Ernest V. and Ruth (Allen) Haight. She was raised and educated in Upton and graduated from Grafton High School in 1956.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Latimore was the co-owner with her husband, of the former Upton Country Store. Together they enjoyed Antiques and previously ran the Old Town Road Antiques shop. Judy also had a talent for interior decorating which she proudly displayed in her home.
Judith was a very active member of the Oak Hill Bible Church in Oxford. She enjoyed acting during church performances. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children, Rev. Kenneth L. Latimore, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Garner, NC., Rev. Allen Latimore and his wife, Catherine, of Torrington, CT., and Darlene Waterhouse and her husband, Robert, of Charlton; four grandchildren, Kelly, Keith, Kristin and James; one great grandchild, Nolan and one on the way; a niece, Wendy and a nephew, Scott.
Her graveside service will be held on Friday, May 25, at 1:15 P.M. at Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street, Upton.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, May 25, from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc., 45 Main Street, Upton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Oak Hill Bible Church, P.O. Box 277, Oxford, MA. 01540.
