Margaret A. Watson (Colucci), 81, of Upton, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard E. Watson, who passed away in May of this year. Their loss so close together that it leaves an enormous space in the hearts of those who loved them.

Margaret was truly full of life. She loved the outdoors, loved to laugh, and never seemed to meet a stranger. She had a way of making people feel welcome and comfortable, and wherever Margaret was, there was usually laughter nearby. She found joy in people, in conversation, in getting out and enjoying life, and especially in being surrounded by those she loved.

Her greatest joy was her family. Margaret leaves behind her son, Arthur Steed and his wife Kimberly, of South Carolina; her daughter, Margaret Kearsley of Upton; and her daughter, Donna Watson of Rhode Island. She was also the loving mother of the late Maria Duffy and Richard Watson Jr.

Margaret was a proud and deeply loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought tremendous happiness to her life. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her love of people extended well beyond her family. Margaret sang in her church choir and enjoyed being an active part of her community. If there was an event happening at the senior center, chances were Margaret could be found there—laughing, visiting with friends, and making the most of every moment.

Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, her outgoing spirit, and the genuine joy she brought into the lives of others. She lived with a love for family, friendship, and simple moments of happiness. She was greatly loved, and she will be greatly missed.

Her family will carry forward countless memories of her laughter, her stories, her love, and the life she brought into every room she entered.
