Marie A. (Cardot) Ball

Marie A. (Cardot) Ball, 86, of Upton, MA and formerly of Arkwright, NY, died Saturday evening, February 1, 2014 in St. Camillus Health Care in Whitinsville, MA after a long illness. She was the widow of Floyd J. Ball, who died in 1961, and W. George Ball, who died in 1987.
Mrs. Ball was born in Arkwright, the daughter of the late Marvin and Nettie (Neuman) Cardot. She spent most of her life in Arkwright where she served as the Town Clerk for many years. Later in life she moved to Upton to be near her daughter and lived in Coach Road Apartments.
She leaves a son, Larry Ball and his wife Natalie of Arkwright; her daughter, Elaine M. Phelan and her husband Richard of Upton; eight grandchildren, Andy Ball of Salamanca, NY, Katie Ball of Arkwright, Sally Felix of Lima, NY, Ellie Ball of China, Maggie Norman of MI, Emily Marshall of Richland, NY, Jennie Ball of AZ, and Heather Matozzo and her husband Tony of Charlton; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
