Marie F. (Saucier) McMahon, 71, of Upton, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. She is the beloved wife of Joseph H. McMahon.
Born to the late John “Jack” Saucier and Catherine (Bruce) Saucier, Marie grew into a woman whose warmth, generosity, and boundless love shaped every life she touched. For 52 years, she shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Joe, building a home filled with laughter, tradition, and unwavering support.
Marie was the proud mother of Adam (Heather), Ethan (Lynn-Ann), Ryan (Alisa), and Marc, and the beloved grandmother of Jared (Marissa), Kayla (Sulayman), Jillian, Cameron, Nathan, Liam, and Makenna. She was also blessed with two great‑grandchildren, Lukas and Griffin, who brought her endless joy. She is survived as well by her sisters Annette Richards and Suzanne Irons, her brother Stephen Saucier, many nieces and nephews.
Family was the heart of Marie’s world. She delighted in throwing parties, playing with her grandchildren, visiting with family, and enjoying breakfasts with her cousins. An avid baker, Marie loved sharing her recipes, her knowledge, and the simple joy of gathering around good food. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, celebration, and countless memories.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, April 14, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main St. Upton.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 15, in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon St. Upton. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.
Marie’s legacy lives on in the traditions she created, the love she gave freely, and the family she leaves behind
