Norman R. Minor

Norman Richard Minor, 92, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026. He was born on March 3, 1934, in Sutton, Massachusetts.

Norm was preceded in death by his parents (Henry Minor, Rose Vachon Minor), eleven siblings, his first grandchild William Richard Minor, and Elizabeth Keeler Minor, the mother of the first five of his six children.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Gavaletz Minor; his six children, Susie Casty, Kevin (Diane) Minor, Jennifer (Brad) Elliott, John (Wendy) Minor, James (Laura) Minor, and Joshua (Laura) Minor; fifteen (of sixteen) grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at Waters Farm in Sutton, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
