Olive M. Aldrich, 103, of Upton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026.

Born on December 1, 1922, Olive lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Olive had a passion for cooking and baking and loved spending time crocheting and knitting. She found great joy in the simple things in life, especially creating beautiful handmade items and preparing delicious meals for those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family will always be remembered.

Olive was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis Aldrich.

She leaves behind her loving children, Jim Aldrich, Fred Aldrich, and Beverly Oliver and her husband, Michael Oliver.

She was a cherished grandmother to Michelle Cunningham, Niomi Aldrich, Travis Aldrich, Kathryn Aldrich, Jennifer Aldrich, and Jessica Oliver.

Olive was also blessed with six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, including her special niece and nephew, Linda Carpenter and Stan Carpenter.

Olive's love, wisdom, strength, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts. Her memory will live on through the many generations of family she leaves behind.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 21, at Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street, Upton.

A calling hour will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. at the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton, prior to her graveside service. Following the calling hour, a funeral procession will form at the funeral home and proceed to the cemetery.
