Richard E. Watson

Richard E. Watson, 91, of Upton, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Margaret A. (Colucci) Watson.

Born in Whitinsville, he was the son of the late Raymond and Florence (Dunlap) Watson. He was raised and educated in Whitinsville and graduated from Mendon High School.

Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Richard was employed for 20 years as a dye maker for Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham. After his retirement he worked as a delivery driver for an auto parts store in Milford.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Arthur Steed and his wife, Kim, of South Carolina, Margaret Kearsley of Upton and Donna Watson of Rhode Island. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two children, Maria Duffy and Richard Watson, Jr.

Services and interment will be private.
