Richard D. Weiker, Jr., known fondly as Rick, was born on July 6, 1957, in Framingham, Massachusetts. He passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family.
Rick had a long and fulfilling career, retiring from Dennison Mfg and Benjamin Moore. He was known for his huge heart and devoted himself to serving others throughout his life. Rick was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and shared his kindness with everyone around him.
Rick cherished spending time with his family, especially during family dinners on race day. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing anything mechanical, making jokes, and having fun with friends and family. He took pride in helping others and was always willing to lend a hand.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife Christine Lebrun, and his children Dana Weiker, Doug Weiker, Wayne Weiker, Rob Gilbert, Coryn Menard, Mary Weiker, Michael Lebrun, and Makayla Lebrun. He was also a proud grandfather to Alana Cartwright, Logan Weiker, Dallas Gilbert, Guinevere Weiker, Kori Weiker, Blake Lebrun, Gavin Weiker, Nicholas Lebrun, Brie DelPrete, Colton Weiker, Gaspare Masucci, and a great-grandfather to Jaxson Cartwright and Emberlyn Cartwright. He is further survived by his brother David Evans and sisters Lorraine Weiker and Brenda Weiker.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard Weiker Sr., and his mother, Marion (Barnes) Weiker.
Visitation for Rick will be held on May 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, located at 45 Main Street, Upton, MA 01568. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on the same day from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM with an internment immediately following at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield Massachusetts. A Celebration of Life lunch will follow after the funeral at 89 Milk St. Blackstone Massachusetts.
Rick will be remembered for his generosity, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
