Robert E. Sadler, 79, a lifelong Upton resident, died early Tuesday, April 20, 2010, in St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. He had been a factory worker for the former Porter Shoe Company in Milford and Bullard Abrasives in Westborough until retiring about ten years ago.
Robert was born in Upton, the youngest of 13 children of the late H. Stephen and Grace (Weir) Sadler. He participated in the Alternatives Unlimited Senior Enrichment Program and particularly enjoyed the Monday Night Bowling League.
He leaves two brothers, William Sadler of Upton and Frederick Sadler of PA; a sister, Waneta Kuczinski of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Henry Sadler, James Sadler, Lucy Burnham, Marion Flooks, Mary French, and Grace Smith.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 10 a.m.
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
