Steven Brown, 63, of Upton, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Milford Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was the husband of Joan P. (Hilditch) Brown and had been an Upton resident for 40 years.
Steven was born in Providence, RI, the son of the late Charles and Jessie (Baillie) Brown of Scituate, RI. He was a graduate of Scituate High School and attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY and Northeastern University. He managed the former Sticky Wicket Pub in Hopkinton for several years and then worked as a sales rep at Van Millwork in Bellingham for over 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a stepdaughter, Christine Safstrom of Upton; a stepson, Michael Safstrom of Harriman, TN; one sister, Susan Thompson and her husband Roger of England, UK; two grandsons; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Service Details
After cremation, memorial calling hours will be held
Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to noon
at the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton,
followed by a service of family remembrances at 12 noon.
