Tammy Marie Flanagan

“All that I am or ever will be, I owe to my angel mother”

May 6, 1962 – May 27, 2026

Tammy Marie Flanagan was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, cherished friend, caregiver, and guiding light to so many close to her. She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and selflessness that will never be forgotten. She leaves behind her father, John Baker of Upton, MA; her loving husband of forty-one years, Paul Flanagan of Holliston, MA; her brother, John Baker of Grafton, MA; and her sister, Michele Laflash of Millbury, MA.

She was a proud mother of six children. She leaves behind her daughter Tiffany Henault and her husband Michael Henault, her son Michael Flanagan and his wife Jessica Flanagan, her son Joshua Flanagan and his wife Miriam Flanagan, her daughter Melissa Flanagan and her significant other Joe Gauthier, her daughter Theresa Bergeron and her husband Dustin Bergeron and her daughter Brianna Flanagan and her significant other David Molina. She was also a loving grandmother to Lillian Henault, Michael Henault, Theadora Henault, Amadeus Molina, Jameson Flanagan, and Jaxon Bergeron. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her family was truly her whole world. Her love for her family had no limits, and she dedicated her life to making sure those around her felt cared for, protected, and deeply loved.

She is predeceased by her mother Joan Baker, who died in March of 2025.

Beyond her own family, she opened her heart and home by fostering more than 100 children over twenty years. To many of these children, she was far more than a foster parent—she was a source of comfort, stability, guidance, and unconditional love. She had an incredible ability to make people feel safe and accepted, no matter where they came from or what struggles they faced.

Helping others was simply who she was. She gave freely of herself, always putting the needs of others before her own. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. Some of her favorite moments were spent in Gloucester, where she found peace and comfort by the ocean.

Tammy was known for her strength and determination. She advocated fiercely for the people she loved and faced life’s challenges with courage, resilience, and grace. Her unwavering support inspired those around her and gave strength to countless others.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she shared so freely. The memories created with her family and friends will be treasured forever, and her kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and endlessly loved.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her funeral Mass at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, June 3, in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street, Upton. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Upton, where she will be laid to rest beside her mother, Joan.
