Edward M. Wadsworth, Jr.

Edward M. Wadsworth, Jr, 70, a lifelong Upton resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at the Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.  He was the husband to Elizabeth J. (McNeil) Wadsworth.

Born in Worcester on January 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Bouthiette) Wadsworth.  He was raised and educated in Upton and was recently employed as a van driver for adult day care at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northbridge.  Mr. Wadsworth also served in the National Guard.

He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, listening to oldies music, shopping, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Jennifer J. Proia and her husband Michael, of Upton, Ryan E. Wadsworth of Uxbridge, and James M. Wadsworth of Worcester; six grandchildren, Izaiah, Kailey, Isabelle, Aryiella, Dylan, and Crew; three sisters, Catherine Bertorelli and her husband John, Patricia Fales and her husband Joseph, and Frances Ebbeling and her husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 11, in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc. 45 Main St. Upton.

A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
