Lorraine E. Apple

Lorraine E. Apple, 82, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.  She is the beloved wife to Donald S. Apple.

Born in Bernardston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Isabel (Reed) Carter.  She was raised and educated in Northfield and was a graduate of Northfield High School.

She was employed throughout the years in various positions in healthcare and retail, however taking care of her children in her life was her priority.

Lorraine enjoyed crafting, spending time on Cape Cod with her family and friends, and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michael Apple and his wife Cynthia, of Grafton, Theresa Apple of Uxbridge, Patricia Marchand and her husband Michael, of Upton, and Kenneth Apple of Upton; her grandchildren, Lauren Marchand of Northbridge, Shaun Marchaund of Upton, Catlin Apple of Grafton, Kyle Tripp of Uxbridge, Eric Apple Medford, and Kayla Tripp of Worcester; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Meader of Northbridge, Trevor Meader of Northbridge, and Tanner Tripp Uxbridge.

Her funeral service in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home and burial at Lakeview Cemetery, Upton, will take place privately with her family.
