Obituary
Lynda Lee Tripp, 82, of Stuart, FL and Upton, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Stuart, FL.
Lynda Lee was born in Somerville, raised in Allston and educated in Arlington, MA.
Lynda Lee was the beloved wife to Kenneth F. Tripp, daughter of the late Luke and Alice Blanch (Jewer) Austin, and was a mother to Charlene Pelley, Debora Holly Langevin, and Melanie Poirier. She is also survived by her step-children; Kenneth Tripp II, Robert Tripp, and Jennifer Flanagan, and her sisters and brother; Gail Siciliano, Cheryle Sweeny, Melanie Scanlon, and Paul Austin. She was a loving grandmother to; Amanda Parks, Lindsay Pelley, Kelsey Friedlander, Tarah Poirier, Lauren Clark, and Jake Poirier.
Prior to retirement, Lynda Lee was the former proprietor and stylist of Lynda Lee’s Yankee Clipper.
She was a parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Upton. Lynda enjoyed helping the church, spending time with her family, golfing, dancing, decorating, and she was a masterful hostess.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, August 8, in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 151 Mendon St. Upton. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 P.M. on Sunday, August 7, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main St. Upton.
